Turkey Visa Terms & Conditions

  • Issuance and approval of a visa is solely regulated by the Government of Turkey and governed by their rules and regulations as amended from time to time.
  • It is also subject to the rules and regulations of the country of which you hold citizenship.
  • Our role is limited to accepting the visa application and required documentation, forwarding the application to the Government of Turkey for consideration of visa issue and communicating that decision to the applicant.
  • If a visa application is declined by the Turkey government we will communicate that decision but there are no refunds whatsoever.
  • If a visa has been issued based on the dates on your initial application and there are subsequent changes to your flight, your plans, or any other details, we are unable to make any changes to an existing visa. Any required changes will therefore be another complete new visa application or it will incur additional cost if changes are possible.
  • We do not accept any responsibility for late, lost or misplaced applications and or the reliability of the contents of the application. Incomplete applications will be disregarded at our discretion.
  • It is a criminal offence to submit incorrect and untrue information on the visa application forms. The Turkish government does not take lightly to this and any other transgressions.
  • The Applicant accepts and acknowledges that we email in good faith and we do not assume any responsibility or liability for emails that have not reached us or you in time. It is therefore in your own interest to apply for the visa as soon as possible and apply follow up procedures within reasonable times.
  • In case of rejection of visa application, we will communicate such decision by the government of Turkey to the applicant but besides that no correspondence will be entertained and no visa fees will be refunded (unless specifically stated). Visas applications may be rejected if you have a criminal record or have been deported or for any other reasons determined solely by the Turkish government. We have no control over such decisions.
  • If you had been refused a visa before, please let us know in advance, when and why it was refused so that we know how to handle the new application.
  • Similarly, we also need to know if you had a previous Turkish visa that was not properly cancelled or another visa such as a tourist visa that may still be valid.
  • We endeavor to deliver visas within 48 hours from the time the complete application reaches us and all requirements are met. The money must also reflect in our SA bank account before we will apply for the visa. We reserve the right to deviate from this policy at our discretion and under special circumstances.
  • If for whatever reason, the visa is delivered later than 48 hours, there will be no compensation. The Turkish government reserves the right to issue the visa when they deem fit or to refuse it without giving any reason.
  • If you are paying via electronic funds transfer (EFT) and assuming you bank with any other bank besides the Standard Bank Ltd of South Africa, please ensure that you make an instant transfer (demand Deposit) otherwise it can take up to two days or more to reflect in our bank account. This will obviously delay the process.
  • The Turkish visa that will be issued to South Africans is valid for 180 days. It is a multiple entry visa that allows you to stay for 30 days at a time.
  • The visa can only be used for tourism and business purposes. You are not allowed to take up employment, whether paid or unpaid.
  • The visa cannot be extended.
  • Our Business operating days and hours are Mondays to Thursdays from 10h00 to 16h00 unless stated otherwise.

  • We shall not be liable for any losses or damages, which the applicant may suffer arising from delay in processing or receiving the visa.
  • All visas are non-transferable.
  • Certain applicants under the age of 18 cannot apply without their parents.
  • All applications must be accompanied by a visa application form and the required payment and any other document that may be required from time to time.
  • Even if the applicant has a valid visa, the Turkish government reserves the right to grant entry to the country to anyone.
  • There must be no discrepancy between the details on the visa and the details of the passport.
  • All people entering Turkey must be in possession of a valid passport, a return air ticket and a credit card. They must be able to sustain themselves whilst in Turkey.
  • We do not accept cheques as a form of payment and therefore you are not allowed to deposit such cheques into our bank account.
  • If you have applied elsewhere for a Turkish visa, or you have an un-cancelled residence visa and you do not disclose that to us, then the second application will automatically be declined due to conflict. There will be no refunds in such a case.
  • It is an explicit requirement that you enter and exit Turkey with the same passport that was used to apply for the Turkish visa or else additional charges will be incurred and you may be refused entry into the country.
  • You will need to keep copies of your air ticket and boarding passes for a period of 90 days after travel.
